How do Virginia Tech and Radford students get a free diagnostic?+
Just show a current Virginia Tech or Radford University student ID when you drop the device off — or to our driver if we're picking it up. The standard $25 diagnostic fee is waived. We test the machine, find the real problem, and give you an exact repair price before any work starts.
Do you pick up and deliver to campus?+
Yes. For a flat $20 round trip we'll collect your laptop, desktop, or console from your dorm, apartment, or a meeting spot on the Virginia Tech or Radford campus, take it to our Christiansburg shop, and bring it back to you when the repair is finished.
How fast can you fix a laptop during the semester?+
Most laptop repairs are back in your hands in one to three business days. Common jobs like screen replacements, batteries, charge ports, and SSD upgrades are often same-day when the part is in stock. Tell us your exam or project deadline and we'll tell you honestly whether we can hit it.
What if I decide not to do the repair?+
You owe nothing for the diagnostic with a student ID. We hand the device back and you're free to go — no restocking charge, no pressure, no membership to cancel.
