Serving Christiansburg, Blacksburg, Radford & the New River Valley
You don't always need a whole new PC. A well-picked GPU, a bump from 16 GB to 32 GB of RAM, or swapping a tired SATA drive for an NVMe SSD can transform an aging desktop into a machine that feels new — for a fraction of a fresh build.
We upgrade PCs of every brand: pre-builts from Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Alienware, plus custom rigs from any era. We'll tell you honestly when an upgrade makes sense and when your budget is better spent on a new build.

Frequently asked
Is my PC even worth upgrading?▾
We'll tell you honestly. If your CPU is more than 6–7 years old and your motherboard uses an obsolete socket, a fresh build often makes more sense than piling upgrades on. We'll show the math either way.
Can you upgrade a pre-built Dell / HP / Lenovo?▾
Usually yes — GPU, RAM, and storage are almost always upgradable. Some slim OEM cases limit GPU size or PSU wattage, which we check first.
Will I lose my files during an SSD upgrade?▾
No. Standard practice is a full clone: your Windows install, apps, and files move to the new drive exactly as they were. No reinstall, no data loss.
Do I need a new power supply for a GPU upgrade?▾
Sometimes. We check your current PSU's wattage, rails, and connectors against the new card. If it's borderline or a low-quality unit, we'll recommend swapping it before the GPU cooks it.
How long does a typical upgrade take?▾
Most in-shop upgrades finish same-day or next-day. Parts we have to order add 1–3 days depending on the item.
Can I bring my own parts?▾
Yes. We install customer-supplied parts at a flat labor rate and give the same stability testing.
