These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Aura Tech website, booking system, customer portal, and in-shop and on-site repair services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to these Terms.
Services
Aura Tech provides computer and on-site technology repair, consulting, and installation services in the New River Valley of Virginia. Estimates are provided in good faith; actual pricing may change once a device is diagnosed, and we will notify you before proceeding with additional work.
Bookings and cancellations
Appointments made through our website hold a specific time slot for you. Mobile visits require at least 24 hours advance notice and carry a $35 dispatch fee. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible so we can offer the slot to another customer.
Payments
Payment is due when service is complete unless prepay is required at checkout. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never store your full card number. Cash and in-store credit are also accepted.
Warranty
Parts we install carry the manufacturer warranty passed through to you. Labor is warrantied for 30 days on the specific repair performed. Physical damage, water damage, or third-party repairs performed after ours will void the warranty on the affected component.
Aura Tech Customer Care SMS Program
When you book with us, we use your email and phone number to coordinate the appointment and repair. If you opt in to text messaging, Aura Tech sends customer-care SMS about your own appointment, repair status, estimates, payment links, and receipts. Message frequency varies, typically 2–8 messages per repair or appointment. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or contact 540-494-4011 or support@auratechit.com. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. You will receive one final opt-out confirmation. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Consent is given directly to Aura Tech only, for Aura Tech messages only, and is never bundled into another agreement or transferred to another business. We do not send third-party marketing, affiliate offers, or lead-generation messages, and we do not operate any affiliate marketing or third-party lead generation program. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Aura Tech's liability for any repair or service is limited to the amount you paid for that repair or service. We are not liable for lost data — please back up your device before service; we can also perform a paid backup on your behalf.
