Where is Aura Tech located?+

We're at 782 New River Rd, STE 636, Christiansburg, VA 24073 — right off the 460 corridor and a quick drive from Blacksburg, Radford, and Virginia Tech.

What areas do you serve?+

Our shop is in Christiansburg, and we regularly serve customers from Blacksburg, Virginia Tech, Radford, Pulaski, Dublin, Pearisburg, Elliston, Shawsville, Fairlawn, and the rest of the New River Valley.

How much does computer repair cost?+

We give free estimates before any work begins. Every repair is quoted upfront so there are no surprises on your bill.

How long do repairs take?+

Most laptop and desktop repairs are completed within 1–3 business days. Common parts like batteries and screens are often same-day if we have stock.

Do you work on Macs?+

Yes. We service Mac and PC laptops and desktops, including screen replacement, battery swaps, SSD upgrades, OS reinstalls, and data recovery.

Are you a cheaper alternative to Geek Squad?+

Generally yes — we're a small local shop with no upsells, no membership fees, and honest upfront quotes. We also explain what's going on in plain English.

Can you build a custom gaming PC?+

Absolutely. We build custom PCs for gaming, work, and family use at any budget, and include full setup, OS installation, and configuration.

Do you convert VHS tapes to digital?+

Yes. We convert VHS, Hi8, MiniDV, and other tape formats to digital files on a USB drive, with DVD copies available on request.

Do you offer tech help for Virginia Tech students?+

Yes — we're a quick drive from campus, and we prioritize fast turnaround for students with class deadlines, exams, or projects on the line.

What are your hours?+

We're open Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and closed Sunday and Monday.
