Macs are reliable, but they're not indestructible. We repair MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac and Mac mini for students at Virginia Tech, remote workers in Blacksburg, and families across the New River Valley — cracked screens, worn-out batteries, sticky keyboards, spilled coffee, and Macs that have just gotten slow over the years.

Every job starts with a $25 diagnostic, credited toward your repair. We'll give you a straight answer about what's fixable: many Intel-era Macs take standard part-level repairs and SSD upgrades, while newer Apple Silicon MacBooks solder storage and memory to the logic board, so some jobs are board-level repairs or evaluation-only quotes rather than a simple part swap. We'll tell you which one you're looking at before any work begins.

We don't repair iPhones or iPads — for laptop and desktop hardware in general, see our Laptop Repair and Desktop Repair pages.

Frequently asked

Can you fix a MacBook with a cracked screen?

Yes, on most MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models. Pricing is part-dependent because Retina and Liquid Retina panels vary in cost by year and size — we quote after inspection.

Can you upgrade the storage on my MacBook?

On Intel-era MacBooks with a replaceable SSD, yes. On newer Apple Silicon MacBooks (M1 and later), storage is soldered to the logic board and isn't upgradeable — we'll tell you which situation applies to your Mac.

Do you repair Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3) MacBooks?

Yes, for screens, batteries, keyboards and liquid damage cleanup. Because RAM and storage are soldered on these models, some failures require a board-level repair or are evaluation-only, and we'll quote that honestly before starting.

My MacBook got wet — what should I do?

Power it off immediately, don't try to charge or turn it on, and bring it in as soon as possible. Liquid damage results depend heavily on how quickly it's brought in, so we can't guarantee full recovery, but early action helps a lot.

Do you repair iPhones or iPads?

No — we focus on Mac, Windows and Linux computers. We do not repair phones or tablets.

Why is my Mac so slow, and can you fix it?

Usually it's startup app buildup, a nearly-full drive, or an aging hard drive that should be a SSD. We diagnose the cause and can do a clean macOS reinstall, storage upgrade where supported, or a general tune-up.

Do you offer a warranty on Mac repairs?

Yes — 90 days on parts and labor for standard repairs. Board-level repairs and liquid damage cleanup are discussed case-by-case since results can vary.
