A PlayStation failure is usually one bad part — a bent HDMI port, a fan clogged with dust, a worn disc drive — not a dead console. Aura Tech repairs PS5, PS5 Slim, Digital Edition, and PS4 consoles right here in Christiansburg, so your PlayStation never gets mailed to an out-of-state depot.
For model-specific details, see our PlayStation 5 repair page and our PS5 HDMI port repair page. Every console starts with a diagnosis and a written quote — no diagnostic fee when repaired by us, and we tell you plainly if a repair isn't worth it.

Frequently asked
Which PlayStation models do you repair?▾
PS5, PS5 Slim, PS5 Digital Edition, PS4, PS4 Pro, and PS3, plus DualSense and DualShock controllers. HDMI ports, overheating, disc drives, and controller drift are the most common repairs.
How fast is a PS5 HDMI port repair?▾
Same day — we keep PS5 HDMI ports in stock. We quote it in writing after diagnosis; no diagnostic fee when repaired by us.
Why does my PS5 shut down while gaming?▾
Almost always heat — dust buildup and dried thermal compound. A full teardown, cleanout, and repaste (including the liquid metal interface on PS5) drops temperatures so it stops shutting down.
Will I lose my games or saves?▾
No. We don't wipe consoles as part of a repair, and your saves sync to your PlayStation Network account anyway.
Do you offer a warranty?▾
Yes — 90 days on parts and labor for the specific repair we performed.
