We know how much a working laptop matters when your entire semester lives on it. Aura Tech is a short drive from Torgersen Hall, Newman Library, and every Hokie residence hall — take a BT bus to downtown Blacksburg and it's a quick rideshare from there, or drop off on your way home for the weekend.
Engineering, CS, architecture, and design students all bring us the same set of problems: dying SSDs, GPU issues on rendering workloads, keyboards that gave up after a semester of coffee, and battery life that can't survive a full day of classes. We fix them, and we'll be honest if a repair isn't worth it versus a replacement or a new custom build.
We keep a soft spot for Hokies on deadline. Data recovery from a drive that won't mount is triaged first, and we'll clone what we can before attempting any repair so your project files exist somewhere else before we start.
