On-Site & Remote Computer Support in the New River Valley

Real people in Christiansburg answering the phone — no call center, no ticket queue purgatory. On-site visits across Blacksburg, Radford, and the NRV, or rapid remote support the same hour.

Serving Christiansburg, Blacksburg, Radford & the New River Valley

Big-box "Geek Squad" style support means dropping your machine off, waiting a week, and talking to whoever picks up next. That's not us. Aura Tech is a local Christiansburg shop that answers the phone, gets on your machine remotely within the hour when we can, and shows up on-site across the New River Valley when the problem needs hands on hardware.

We support home users, work-from-home professionals, and small businesses up to about 25 seats — Windows, macOS, printers, Wi-Fi, cloud accounts, backups, and everything in between. No contracts required for one-off help. For businesses that want ongoing coverage, see Managed IT.

Frequently asked

How fast can you actually help?

For remote sessions, most weekday requests get connected within the hour. On-site visits are typically scheduled same-day or next business day depending on load and location.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No. One-off help is billed per session or per visit. Contracts are optional and only make sense for businesses that want guaranteed response times — see Managed IT for that.

Is remote support safe?

Yes. We use encrypted remote tools that require you to approve the connection each session. You can watch every action on your screen and end the session with one click.

Do you support Macs and iPhones too?

Yes — macOS, iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch alongside Windows and Android. Cross-platform households are our normal.

What areas do you cover on-site?

Christiansburg, Blacksburg, Radford, Pulaski, Salem, and most of the New River Valley. Outside the base radius we quote an additional trip fee upfront.

Can you help a small business without full managed IT?

Yes. Many local shops and offices use us on-demand — a couple hours a month covers most needs. When you outgrow that, we can move you to a fixed monthly plan.
